The Faith CWC & Faith Temple COGIC

Our Story

From a small town hungerford in Texas a church call  Faith Temple COGIC to The Interstate 69/59. The Faith Community Worship Centeris was birthed by Pastor Grayling Alexander a nonprofit organization based in East Bernard Texas.

                                                                 

The ministry journey of Pastor Grayling Alexander began in 1983 in the humble town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. With a passion for God’s people and a calling to serve, he laid the foundation for what would become decades of impactful ministry.

In 1997, Pastor Alexander was appointed Pastor of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Hungerford, Texas. His leadership brought growth, spiritual depth, and community outreach to the congregation.

Years later, while in prayer, Pastor Alexander heard a divine prompting:
“Let your light shine on I-59/69.”
This word from the Lord marked the beginning of a new season and gave birth to The Faith Community Worship Center (The Faith CWC).

The name “The Faith CWC” honors the legacy of Faith Temple and represents the continuation of a vision rooted in faith. As an interfaith ministry, The Faith CWC opens its doors and its heart to people from all walks of life and spiritual backgrounds.

Here at The Faith CWC, we welcome all who seek truth, hope, healing, and community. Our mission is to let the light of Christ shine brightly — not just on I-59/69, but throughout every life we encounter.

Vision

The Faith Community Worship Center and Faith Temple is operating within a move of God in creating a spiritual atmosphere of Love, Blessings, and Appreciation in the Body of Christ. By demonstrating our Faith through works and in gathering of Souls, as the first fruits of a new era that will exercise Innovative Faith, to reach the unreachable and bring them into the Body of Christ and will gather a fuller harvest.

Mission

Our Mission is to make known God's love, blessing, and appreciation for the Body of Christ by building a spiritual foundation of Worship and Bible Study. We aspire to provide a framework for the creative functioning of Ministries departments. We will realize this goal by establishing redemptive interpersonal relationships and equipping lay people for leadership and community service. Also, we will strengthen the Body of Christ by hosting revivals, specialized training sessions, and utilizing both spiritual and natural capacities of members while accessing the Ministries' available resources to enhance the overall functioning of our Mission.
